My name is Diane Klettke. I am a woman on a journey through life with a desire to discover the ways in which spiritual truth gives life meaning and purpose and beauty. I seek spiritual transformation in loving relationship with God as He reveals Himself through His Word.
I am, at heart, teacher and student, lover of order and creativity, communicator and silence seeker. Writing on my weblog is a new found means of creatively communicating the exciting truths of scripture in expressive ways – even writing a parable or two. It is my hope that the Spirit of God will take my words and use them to encourage others.
It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I use photographs and paints to put a picture to the beauty that I see around me.
I also believe that everyday beauty can be found even in a well prepared meal – especially if it is shared with people that you love. That is communion to me.
My favorite dinner partner is my husband, Ed, to whom I have been married for 34 years. Alas, my 2 children do not often eat at my table because they are grown up and living their own interesting and creative lives.
I would love it if you would join me on this journey, so that we can encourage each other. You can find me at “In Light of This – Discovering God in Everyday Life” .
I will always try to respond to comments.
